Hello everyone,
My name is Caoimhe, and I am currently in my fourth and final
year of university. I am studying Accounting at SETU (Southeast Technological
University). This blog was created as part of my assignment for the module ‘Digital
Economy.’ I am excited to share my insights and research in the coming weeks through
this blog. This blog will serve as a space where I delve into diverse topics
that are not only essential but impertinent to my field of study but also
crucial in our understanding of the evolving landscape of our economy.
Over the coming weeks, I will discuss several topics. My
first topic is ‘why the Southeast of Ireland is an excellent place to invest
for tech firms.’ I will be discussing the exceptional blend and combination of talent,
resources and infrastructure that makes it an ideal destination for technological
companies wishing to expand. I will go over the numerous elements that contribute
to this. These include the availability of experienced workers and the strong
technological environment and the technological firms that expanded their
companies to the sunny southeast.
Other topics that I will cover are ‘the rise of digital
payments’ in today’s fast-paced world but additionally ‘the benefits of cloud-based
analytics for small businesses’ that will improve efficiency and gain a competitive
edge.
This is only the beginnings of a great journey; I look
forward to engaging with you all through this blog and sharing my journey and
